There comes a moment when you’re at rock bottom and you ask yourself:

In The Hat and the Hill  I call this place the Valley of Tears .

However, I had known him long before I gave him a name in the book.

Perhaps you know him too.

You know pretty well that something is coming to an end.

You just don’t know what comes next.
